How are you guys doing? What are you doing to stay sane, or keep anxiety at bay
in this crazy, surreal, & frightening pandemic.
For me I think one of the worst aspects to deal with is the confusion of information being put out there. Never has information overload been more devastating. Misinformation is killing people,
and while the virus reeks global havoc for hunamity Mother Nature is enjoying the break.
The almost global quarantine is affecting the environment in so many positive ways, with birds and wildlife returning and waters clearing after years of abuse.
Roadside hedgerows left untrimmed are attracting butterflies and bees, and other pollinators. Proving the world will definitely survive without us.
What lessons are we going to take away, can we do better in the future?
I am hopeful we can.
Have you started any fun projects? Have you thought about projects but don’t know how or where to start? I am always here to answer questions about a myriad of different arts or crafts projects. So please feel free to drop me a message. It’s one of the things I really miss about not having the shop. I really loved helping people get their creative groove on!
I feel I’ve been kind of MIA during this craziness so far. Getting settled in after moving was occupying most of my thoughts back in early January.
I was just about to get stuck in to a big bout of creativity with the many ideas i've had circulating my brain. Instead I set up my sewing room and joined the "sewing Brigade"
Now Covid-19 masks are my daily mission. I am sewing constantly and feeling useful to be a small part of helping the community contain this virus. Pictured here are a few of the color combinations I’ve sent out this week.
After a number of requests & realizing it would also really help with tracking, I spent time the other night setting up a store on my website.
The masks are available there in three sizes.

Thank you to everyone for your orders, not only is this project keeping me sane and giving me something positive on which to focus, it is also keeping me in tea & toast
